Brighten From Within
Snow Bright is our proprietary antioxidant combination designed for patients seeking a brighter, more radiant complexion while also supporting the body’s natural antioxidant defenses.
Our physician-directed formula combines three powerful antioxidants:
Glutathione + Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) + Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA)
Glutathione has become especially popular in Asian aesthetic medicine, seeking a brighter, more even-looking complexion. At Concordia Star Medical & Aesthetics, however, we take a more comprehensive approach. Rather than focusing only on cosmetic brightening, Snow Bright combines complementary antioxidants selected to support skin health, collagen production, cellular antioxidant protection, and overall wellness.
What Is Glutathione?
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant naturally produced by the body and found within nearly every cell. It plays an important role in protecting cells from oxidative stress and supporting the body’s normal cellular defense and metabolic processes.
Glutathione has also gained significant interest in aesthetic medicine for its potential influence on melanin production and skin pigmentation. Some studies of oral and topical glutathione have demonstrated improvements in skin brightness and pigmentation in certain individuals, although results can vary and research regarding injectable glutathione specifically for skin brightening remains limited.
At Concordia Star Medical & Aesthetics, Snow Bright goes beyond glutathione alone by combining it with Vitamin C and Alpha-Lipoic Acid.

The Snow Bright Antioxidant Trio
Glutathione
Glutathione is one of the body’s principal intracellular antioxidants. It helps protect cells against oxidative stress and supports normal cellular processes.
Potential benefits include:
- Supporting the body’s natural antioxidant defenses
- Helping protect cells from oxidative stress
- Supporting healthy-looking skin
- Promoting a brighter, more radiant-looking complexion
- Supporting overall cellular wellness
Vitamin C|Ascorbic Acid
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient and powerful antioxidant. It is also required for normal collagen synthesis and contributes to immune function and healthy tissue repair.
Within Snow Bright, Vitamin C complements glutathione by supporting:
- Normal collagen production
- Antioxidant protection
- Healthy skin
- Immune function
- A brighter, refreshed appearance
Alpha-Lipoic Acid|ALA
Alpha-Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant compound that participates in cellular energy metabolism and antioxidant pathways.
ALA is included in Snow Bright to provide an additional layer of antioxidant support and complement the actions of Glutathione and Vitamin C
More Than Skin Brightening
Many patients first become interested in glutathione because they have heard about its use for skin brightening. Snow Bright was designed with a broader purpose.
Rather than simply trying to change skin color, our approach focuses on supporting healthy, radiant-looking skin while providing antioxidant support from within.
Patients may seek Snow Bright for:
- Dull or tired-looking skin
- Uneven-looking complexion
- A desire for greater skin radiance
- Antioxidant support
- Support during periods of increased oxidative stress
- General wellness as part of a physician-directed program
Snow Bright is not intended to bleach the skin or dramatically change your natural skin tone. Our goal is to support healthier-looking, brighter, more luminous skin while preserving your natural complexion.
Physician-Supervised for Your Safety
Because Snow Bright contains injectable nutrients and antioxidants, every new patient must first undergo a medical evaluation.
At Concordia Star Medical & Aesthetics, injectable wellness treatments are approached as medical treatments. We evaluate your health history rather than simply administering an injection based on a requested treatment.
Before beginning Snow Bright, we review your medical history, medications, allergies, health conditions, and appropriate laboratory testing.
Laboratory Screening
New patients will generally require:
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
A CMP allows us to evaluate important laboratory markers, including kidney function, liver-related markers, electrolytes, and other metabolic parameters before treatment.
G6PD Testing
G6PD status is evaluated because individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency may have an increased risk of hemolysis when exposed to high concentrations of Vitamin C.
Additional laboratory testing may be recommended depending on your medical history, medications, and individualized treatment plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is a good candidate for Snow Bright?
Snow Bright may be appropriate for healthy adults interested in:
- Improving the appearance of dull or tired-looking skin
- Supporting a brighter, more even-looking complexion
- Increasing overall skin radiance
- Antioxidant support
- Supporting healthy skin and collagen production
- Incorporating antioxidant therapy into a physician-directed wellness program
A consultation and medical evaluation are required before your first treatment.
Who may not be a good candidate?
Snow Bright may not be appropriate for everyone. Patients with certain kidney, liver, metabolic, hematologic, or other medical conditions may require additional evaluation or may not be candidates.
Special consideration is required for patients with:
- G6PD deficiency
- Impaired kidney function
- A history of certain kidney stones or oxalate-related kidney disease
- Significant underlying medical conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Known allergies or sensitivities to any component of the treatment
- Certain medications or active medical treatments
Your physician will determine whether Snow Bright is appropriate for you.
Why do you check kidney function?
Kidney function is an important consideration when administering Vitamin C and other injectable nutrients. Vitamin C is metabolized in part to oxalate, which may present additional risk in susceptible individuals, particularly those with impaired kidney function or certain kidney disorders.
Reviewing a CMP and your medical history allows us to determine whether treatment is appropriate and whether additional testing is necessary.
Why do I need a G6PD test?
G6PD is an enzyme that helps protect red blood cells from oxidative injury.
People with G6PD deficiency can be more vulnerable to hemolysis when exposed to certain oxidative stresses, including high concentrations of Vitamin C. For this reason, G6PD status is an important component of our safety evaluation prior to treatment.
Will Snow Bright make my skin white?
Snow Bright is not designed to bleach the skin, and no specific degree of skin lightening can be guaranteed.
Our goal is to support a brighter, healthier, more luminous and even-looking complexion while maintaining your natural skin tone.
Individual responses vary depending on genetics, baseline pigmentation, sun exposure, skincare, lifestyle, health status, and other factors.
How many treatments will I need?
There is no single treatment schedule that is appropriate for every patient.
Treatment frequency is individualized based on your goals, health history, laboratory findings, response to treatment, and physician recommendations.
Because clinical evidence regarding injectable glutathione specifically for cosmetic skin brightening remains limited, we cannot guarantee a particular degree or duration of brightening.
Can Snow Bright replace my skincare routine?
No. Snow Bright should complement, rather than replace, a comprehensive skincare program.
Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, appropriate medical-grade skincare, healthy nutrition, adequate hydration, and treatment of underlying pigmentation conditions remain important components of achieving and maintaining healthy, even-looking skin.
Is injectable glutathione FDA-approved for skin lightening?
No. Injectable glutathione is not FDA-approved specifically for cosmetic skin lightening.
For this reason, we believe appropriate patient selection, medical screening, pharmaceutical sourcing, sterile technique, and physician supervision are particularly important when offering glutathione-containing treatments.

Aesthetic wellness should still be medicine.
Snow Bright is offered under physician supervision with careful attention to your medical history, laboratory results, medications, contraindications, and individual goals.
