Microblading or “3D Eyebrows”

Microblading also referred to as “eyebrow embroidery”, “3D eyebrows” or “microstroking” is a way of semi-permanent make-up, where through the manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin we create the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows. Microblading allows for precision-like strokes for a much more natural overall look. The procedure is done using a small hand-held blade that deposits color pigment into the dermis or skin. Some people find it a bit sensitive and numbing gels can be applied before the procedure to minimize the overall effects. The average procedure takes around 1-2 hrs depending upon rather you need a full brow or filling in missing areas. What differs in this type of procedure is it is not permanent unlike “tattooing” for the brows and can allow you to change the look each time you go in for a touch-up or redesign. The look can last upwards of 18-36 months if taken care of properly with visits every 6 months or so for touch-ups along the way.
