Rejuvenation of the stars
Fractional (automated) micro-needling or collagen induction therapy (CIT) has been more popular lately as this is a very effective tool for skin revitalization. The process helps resurface the skin, improve texture and gives clarity to the overall appearance of skin. It can treat fine lines, wrinkle, pigmentation and acne scars. The best results are done with a series of treatments.
We use the Eclipse MicroPen® to create controlled microscopic pinpoint wounds that act as a superficial micro-channels in the skin. The body responds by creating new elastin and collagen as part of the repair process resulting in improvement of the appearance of skin texture. Micro-needling can be used with PRP or topical gels and serums to help improve the appearance of the epidermal layers of the skin.
To enhance the healing process, the addition of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to micro-needling produces outstanding results. The procedure is safe and can be used on all skin types and colors. Platelet Rich Plasma ( PRP ) is rich in growth factors produced by the body to stimulate collagen production restoring and rejuvenating the skin.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is performed by Dr. Ladie Arana-Domondon together with her esthetician. The procedure involves drawing blood from the patient and placed into a centrifuge, spun at a rapid rate to separate the platelets from the other components of the blood.
The extracted Platelet Rich Plasma is applied to the skin during the micro-needling procedure or injected into areas of the skin that needs treatment. The injection of the PRP is performed solely by own master physician injector Dr. Ladie Arana-Domondon.
