Dermal Fillers Treatment in Puyallup, WA
Dermal fillers help to restore volume and fullness to the face to create a more youthful appearance. It also helps diminish facial wrinkles and creases.
Dr. Ladie Arana-Domondon uses microcannula needleless tips as part of her dermal filler technique. A microcannula is a very thin, tiny, flexible hollow tube with a smooth round tip. The sharp end is gone! Instead of many needle sticks, she only needs a very few injection sites to provide entry points for the cannula. That means less needle marks, less pain and far less probability of bruising.
In addition to the use of the microcannula, Dr. Ladie Arana-Domondon has developed her own technique known as the Golden Phi Concordia Star technique customized to each client’s needs in order to achieve the best possible natural look without the appearance of looking overdone.
As an advanced injector, she has access to a wide selection of products to augment and contour the face.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA™ , JUVÉDERM® XC, BELOTERO® BALANCE, RESTYLANE®, PERLANE®, RESTYLANE SILK) Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers -HA are just like the natural sugar hyaluronic acid, found in the body. These naturally- derived fillers can give immediate results which can last from 6 to 18 months depending on which type of HA filler, after which the filler eventually break down and is reabsorbed by the body. These dermal fillers have less chance of allergic reactions and may be reversible in rare occasions that the filler migrates or is incorrectly placed.
Calcium Hydroxylapatite Filler (CaHA) microspheres (Radiesse®) – are made of tiny calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. These calcium-based microspheres are similar to minerals in your body, so allergy testing is not required. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a type of “bone cement” and has been used for years to repair many types of skeletal defects. It has been shown to have stable results, ease of use, and is easily adapted for use as a dermal filler. Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen. This filler may last up to 12-24 months and is considered semi-permanent.
Polymethylmethacrylate Filler (PMMA) collagen filler. Bellafill® ( previously known as Artefill® ) is an injectable bovine collagen (sourced from calf skin) dermal filler with non-resorbable polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres that provide structural support to the skin. It also contains 0.3% of local anesthetic (lidocaine). The lidocaine in Bellafill® helps to improve the comfort of the injection. Bellafill® is a dual-acting injectable dermal filler. First, the collagen gel in Bellafill® provides immediate volume and lift to correct the wrinkle and/or acne scar. The PMMA microspheres remain in place and create a base that provides structural support to the skin. Bellafill® is considered a long acting semi-permanent to permanent filler effective up to 5 years. Skin testing is required.
